How to close up shop when you leave

Please follow the closing checklist if you leave after dark AND/OR are the last one out.

Front area:
- Check all doors are locked,  
- Turn off all lights except in the lobby area. Call out to make sure no one is still there.  
- Kitchen: Turn-off Coffee Pot and any other kitchen appliances  
- 3D Printer’s Alley: Make sure printers are off if they aren’t running. Leave any that are running alone  
Warehouse:
- Check that both exit doors are closed & that nothing is blocking them.
- Check that all roll up doors are closed
- In the winter - turn the heater in ceramics down to about 60 degrees
- In the summer - turn off the big warehouse fan
- Metal Shop: Turn off vent fan if it’s on. Check welding gas to make sure it’s off
- Ceramics:
  - Turn off wheels or unplug extension cord to them. 
  - Turn off kiln ventilation fan if the kiln is not firing (switch is on the cord).
  - Pull out plugs for lights that are plugged in above the wedging table.
- Turn off all breakers that have white tape on the breaker or the word Light in white letters next to the breaker. Don’t touch any other breakers!
