* MakerSpace Access - We use a keyfob system for 24/7 access. Complete the onboarding task list below to get a key fob.
* Parking - Park in front of the building, but not in front of Bradfield Lighting. Members may also park on the side of the building inside the gated area. No long term parking or vehicle storage.
* MakerSpace facilities- Don’t Leave doors propped open. Open garage doors as needed, but shut after use. When leaving the space for the day, especially at night, check who else is still here & ask if they still need doors open and let them know if they are the last one there or if others are still around. (see Emergency contact info below if doors or garage doors won’t shut). Please keep all exits clear and available.
* Cleanliness- It’s a shared member’s space. Please be respectful and clean up after yourself. Including, kitchen, fridge, microwave, and all shop spaces.
* Safety- Report issues: broken tools, equipment, personal injury, etc, to a shop captain, the board, or Joel Lindsey. Use PPE: ie- safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc. (see shop captains for specifics per shop. Familiarize yourself with where fire exists, fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, & first aid kits are located.)
* Project storage- each shop has it’s own rules about storing in progress projects. (see shop captains for specifics per shop. *Label & date your projects so they don’t get tossed out.)
*Member Storage Tote- a x” by x” storage container is available for $10/ month. (message Joel Lindsey for payments).
* Materials to use - (see shop captains for specifics per shop.)
* Donations of materials & equipment - (see shop captains for specifics per shop.)
* Exhibit Spaces - (see shop facilities team for specifics.)
* Maker Studios - There are a few 10’ x 10’ spaces for an additional monthly fee. Please do not go into these specific areas without permission from the specific member who is renting that space.
