The CubePro manual gives very little information to consumers on how to maintain the machine.

Warning: The machine and its components are often very fragile. The methods given in this guide will void your warranty, hack/modify at your own risk.

Cleaning the nozzles

The nozzle threads into the heat-brake above the heating element. Unfortunately, you cannot remove the nozzle directly from the heating element.

Replacing the nozzles with non-standard parts

The heat-brake uses internal M6 threading. To replace the nozzle and heating element, your part must have external M6 threads (same type used on the V6 nozzle).

Replacing the PTFE liner

1. Remove the heating element from the heat-brake. 2. Carefully pull out the old PTFE (Teflon) tube. If it is difficult to remove, use pliers or vice grips to hold the PFTE. If you still cannot remove the lining, wrap the heat-brake in a fabric and insert it into a soft-jawed vise. Apply as little force as possible.

If the tube is clogged, you may be able to use a 2mm rod to clear it.
