Consumables

A consumable is used up in the process of making an item, but doesn't end up as a part of the final product. For example, welding gas is used in the process of MIG welding, but since it is burned up in the process of welding it doesn't become a part of the end product. Thus it isn't a material used for fabrication, it is a consumable.
